Runway 17/35 (North/South runway) will be resurfaced beginning October 8th as part of routine maintenance and upgrading of the facility. While this project will not change the flight traffic patterns at the airport, it will increase the volume of traffic using the East/West runway. I would appreciate your assistance in distributing this information to your neighbors so they will know that this is a temporary condition during the resurfacing project. This resurfacing is a normal consequence of wear and tear, and is not in any way preparatory to any planned, expected, or rumored runway expansion.
